On the Occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, October 2nd 2018, Several Associations and Offices of Govinda Dasa College took part in inauguration of the Swachh Surathkal Abhiyan held at Kulai.
The students, co-ordinators and other staff members took part in the Cleanliness Awareness Rally organized by Swaatch Bharath Ramakrishna Mission & Nagarika Salaha Samithi, Mangalore.
The students of NSS, YRC units, NCC, Rovers & Rangers cadets and volunteers of Rotract Club took part in the rally raising slongs on cleanliness and spread awareness in the locality of Chitrapura. The students of Fine-arts association also joined the rally with Street Play and Folk Instruments.
The associations of Govinda Dasa College, were also joined by Pathanjali Yoga Kendra, Ineer Wheel, V.I.R.A.T etc. in the procession.
Staff Members: Prof. Ramesh Bhat, Mr. Harish Acharya, Mrs. Sudha, Mrs. Babitha Naveenchandra, Mrs. Shobha Kumari, Mrs. Shilparani, Mrs. Pratheeksha, Mr. Atul Bhat, Ms. Poornima Gokhale were present. Mr. Vinod and Several other alumni of the college were also present.
