Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Consumer and Human Rights Cell, Political Science forum, Mahila Vedike, Innovation Club of Govinda Dasa College and Legal Aid Extension Cell of SDM College, Mangalore, jointly organized the Legal Awareness Programme on 27 January 2021. Resource persons were Ms. Rashmi Mallya, Student Secretary SDM College, Ms. Priyanka, Coordinator of Legal Aid Cell, SDM Law College and Ms. Ashwini D’Souza of SDM Law College. They Spoke on Right to Information Act 2005, Fundamental Rights and Duties and PIL, Sexual harassment at work Place Prevention Act 2013.The function was presided by prof. B.Y.Kumar, Dean of Humanities GDC Surathkal. The resource persons highlighted the key features of the above legislations and their importance. 94 students attended the programme.
