The National Service Scheme unit of the college was inaugurated by the Founder President of Apadhbandhava Samaja Seva Sangha(R) N. S. Umesh Devadiga Idya on 2 February 2021. Addressing the gathering he shared his life experiences as a social worker and motivated the students. The Principal Krishnamoorthy P. presided over the function and wished all the success to the units. The Chief guest Prof. Ramesh Kulai conveyed the importance of service and discipline to the volunteers.
Volunteer Ms. Bindiya Shetty shared her experience of the Republic Day selection process and the Parade during the programme.
The Vice Principal and SWO Prof. Ramesh Bhat, Programme Officers Pratheeksha and Poornima Gokhale were present in the programme. As many as 80 volunteers participated in the programme.
