A “Workshop on Business Education” and “Innovatia 2019-20” was conducted by the Department of Commerce & Business Management in association with Entrepreneurship Development Programme Cell of Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal, on 23rd December, 2019 at 10.00a.m. in A.V.Hall.
Prof. Y .V Ratnakara Rao, Administration Director of Govinda Dasa PU College , Surathkal and Mrs. Lakshmi P, Principal, Govinda Dasa PU College was the guests for the programme and Sri Venkat Rao , Secreatry H.V Sangha was the inaugurator for the workshop on Innovatia 2019-2020.

The Main agenda behind the Workshop Inauguration on “Workshop on Business Education” and “Innovatia 2019-20” Was to enlighten the Second year PU students to enhance the knowledge on Business education.
Prof. Y.V Ratnakara Rao in his talk described the present importance of commerce in every field of the business and how the market needs to be done innovatively. Apart from that he quoted that the present students are the luckiest batch which are in high demand in the job market because they are well versed with the needed commerce knowledge along with innovation.
Dr. K . Shivashankar Bhat , Principal, Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal gave the presidential remark and enhanced them on importance of commerce in business. Sri. Ramesh Kulai, Director Administration GDC, Surathkal presented the Speech.

Second year PU Commerce Students of GD PU College had got an opportunity to listen to Prof. Y V Rathnakar Rao, Director Administration of GovindaDasa PU College &,Dr.K.Shivashankara Bhat , Principal, GovindaDasa College, Prof.Krishna Murthy, Vice-Principal, GovindaDasa College, Sri M Venkat Rao, Secretary H.V Sangha , Prof. Ramesh Kuali Director Administration of GDC, Co-ordinator of Commerce Association Prof. Shilparani were present on the dias on this occasion. The Inauguration of the workshop concluded at 12.30 pm.

The New Product Exhibition of “Innovatia 2019-20” comprises different products generated by B.Com Students under subject assignment and it is witnessed by approximately 380 students of 10 surrounding PU Colleges with 15 commerce staff members.
