Guest lecture on “Macro-Economic Environment and Union Budget 2021-22 & Banking Sector Reforms” on 18 March 2021

Govinda Dasa College ,Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Post Graduate Dept. of Commerce in association with Govinda Dasa Alumni Association organised a Guest lecture on “Macro-Economic Environment and Union Budget 2021-22 & Banking Sector Reforms” on 18 March 2021 in Audio-Visual  Hall of the college. Mr Narendra M ,Ex Chairman and Managing Director  of Indian Oversees Bank ,(He is the Alumnus of the College)was the Resource person. In his speech, he narrated the various financial measures taken by the Union Government in collaboration with Reserve Bank of India during COVID-19 pandemic, major financial sector reforms during post-pandemic period and also highlighted the recent developments  in the Banking sector.

Dr Herbert Nazareth, Director of Post Graduate Dept. of Commerce welcomed the guest and the gathering. Ms. Harsharani, Faculty of Commerce, proposed vote of thanks.

Prof. Krishnamoorthy, Principal  of the College, Mr Ramesh Rao, President ,Alumni Association, Prof. Ramesh Kulai , Director (Administration), Ms. Umadevi, Ex Vice President of H.V. Sangha, Mr Shriranga, Joint Treasurer of H.V. Sangha and  Mrs. Bharathi, Faculty member, were present.

60 M.Com students  participated and benefited from the  programme.
