Mrs Pratheeksha Nss Programme officer had been awarded as Best NSS Programme officer (2017-2018), by Karnataka State Government. She received the award in Bangalore during the program conducted by the State Ministry of Affairs and Sports, Department of Youth Affairs in the presence of Dr. C.N Aswath Narayan, Minister of Higher Education, Information Technology & Biotechnology and Science & Technology, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, and Livelihood in the Government of Karnataka. , DR K.C Narayan Gowda Minister of state for Youth empowerment and sports, Planning, Program monitoring and Statistics of Karnataka, Dr. Shalini Rajneesh, Additional Chief Secretary,

Mrs. Pratheeksha is an active NSS Program officer for 5 years in the college, under her guidance 7 students have participated in the Republic day parade which will be held in New Delhi. She has also worked keenly to receive the award for the best NSS UNIT for the college in the year 2016. under her guidance students received National and State NSS Awards.
She along with other officers of the college successfully conducted many NSS camps, programme in and around the state.
